Taylors
Established Greenville County neighborhoods between Greer and Greenville, with the oldest concrete on this side of the corridor.
Taylors →Greer is home: the established streets around downtown and Wade Hampton Boulevard, the neighborhoods off Highway 14 and Brushy Creek Road, the Riverside and Pelham Road side toward the airport, and the subdivisions still going in along I-85 and toward the county line. From there we cover the towns on both sides of Greer, each with its own mix of old concrete and new fill.

The city straddles the Greenville–Spartanburg county line, which matters for permits on structural work and not at all for a driveway. The older neighborhoods near downtown and along Wade Hampton have concrete from the 1960s through the 1990s that has seen hundreds of freezes: scaled surfaces, settled walks and joints that have opened. The newer subdivisions off Highway 14, Brushy Creek, Pelham Road and the I-85 interchanges were built on graded fill in the last ten years, and that is where the builder's driveway is cracking or dropping at the garage before the house is paid off.
