General information, not a site assessment

Two driveways with the same crack can need different work. Subgrade, fill history, drainage, slab thickness, reinforcement and the age of the concrete decide the answer. The pages here explain patterns seen across Greer; only a site visit says what a particular slab needs.

Cost figures

Per-square-foot ranges and example totals are 2026 planning numbers for Greenville and Spartanburg counties. They are not quotes. Base depth, access, removal, reinforcement, finish and season move the figure, and the itemized written estimate is the only price.

Soil, drainage and settlement

Descriptions of Piedmont clay, shrink-swell behaviour and settling fill are diagnostic explanations of why slabs move. They are not a geotechnical report for any lot. Settlement of a house foundation is outside the scope of this business and requires an engineer.

Photographs

Images on this site illustrate the conditions and the work described in the text. They are not before-and-after records of a named customer's project in Greer.

Durability and warranties

How long a slab lasts depends on the ground under it, the weather it sees, the loads it carries, de-icing products and whether it is sealed on schedule. Proper preparation improves the odds; it does not control the clay or the climate. The warranty that applies to a job is the one written into the signed agreement with the crew performing it.

Permits and agencies

Statements about permits in Greer, Greenville County and Spartanburg County, and about South Carolina registration and licensing, summarize the position at the time of writing. Agencies change rules and thresholds; their current publications govern.

Who does the work

Jobs booked through this site are performed by independent insured crews. The referral marketing disclosure describes the arrangement and how those crews are compensated.

Outside links and corrections

Links to agency websites are offered for convenience and their content is not under our control. Errors on this site are corrected when reported; send the page and the detail to the address above.

Wet concrete burns skin, saw-cutting produces silica dust, and a tilted step or a slab with a void under it is a hazard until it is lifted or replaced. Keep people and vehicles clear of damaged concrete, do not attempt to lift or jack a slab yourself, and if someone is injured call 911 before calling (864) 662-6599.
